A late summmer shot of a small falls/cascade off of Hwy 215 just north of the Blue Ridge Parkway, near Brevard, NC

My first experience with tilt-shift lens. They are amazingly sharp.

Canon 5dII, Canon 24mm TS-E 3.5 II lens, F8, .4 sec, ISO 320

As always, the larger version has more detail...

Great mixture of elements captured here. I really enjoy what that fg reflection adds to this scene. Well seen and captured!

Nice concept here Wick which draws you in from bottom to the top. I like the reflection and the texture and color of the rock.

Looks like you did pretty good work with the tse Wick. Cool idea with the reflection and the falls in the background really finish off the image.

Cool idea, and very well executed. I love that reflection, and the waterfall in the bg. I would just crop a bit from the top to get rid of those distant trees, I feel they draw the eye off a bit too much.

Wick,

What a perfect situation for the t/s lens. Recognizing when these new lenses will actually be an advantage is not an easy thing to do. Also, a great near/far comp.

Not really a nit, but I might consider lightening this in general. I know this appears to be in shade, but I personally would go for a little bit more exposure. Especially in the rock and right side. Otherwise, well seen and captured.

I like it. The colors, textures, water and hint of greens all keep your eye moving, and the reflection is a nice centerpiece.
