While hiking the trail behind the Eilson Visitors Center in Denali I was struck with all of the wild flowers. Here is an image of one of them. I have already posted one or two and will post more. I would really appreciate input whether this works or not.

Canon 30D
Tokina 80-400
Aperture Priority
Shutter 1500
Aperture f8
ISO 400
330mm

Richard, Lovely habitat shot of what appears to be Forget me Not flowers. . A slight crop from the top might also make the composition stronger.

It works for me Richard. The pattern of the blue flowers in the image appeals to me and I like the chaos of the grasses as well. I also like the dof decision. Seems to me you did an excellent job of balancing the sharper fg elements without the bg intruding. I like the mood of it too.

Richard:
The composition works. I am tempted to re-arrange the scene slightly to remove the foreground leaves intersecting the flowers.

I think it works fairly well. My only nit would be the grasses and stems that are blocking the flowers.
