Autumn Palette
by Zack Clothier
An Adirondack forest near my home, shot in midday conditions with some thin high clouds diffusing the sun. The wind was blowing which is why I shot it at a higher ISO than I normally would have. I've included a larger version for your viewing pleasure. Comments and critiques welcome..

The verticals of the trees work well as do the oblique line of the thin black limbs.
On my monitor I might scroll down the saturation a tad???

This is drop dead gorgeous! The borders on Impressionistic and is really very artsy and painterly. I absolutely love this!
If I had only one suggestion it would be a slight crop from the left to remove part of the dark branch. It's not a distraction per se and nothing wrong with it's presence, but does slightly diminish that painterly look because it's so much darker and "harder" than the rest of the image. Otherwise, I think this is an incredible autumn image. Congrats!
