The ND filter causing the long shutter gave the sky a very unique look. The water effect is nice as well, but seen often. The sky on the other hand is unique, at least in my opinion.

Works nicely for me Geoffrey. Black and white seascapes have a special atmosphere for me and that is conveyed here as well.

It's a very nice scene! It can be an alien world with strange methane oceans or who knows what. I like the sharp detail in the foreground rocks and the overall tone of the image.

Very strong; I like how the light sky and light water make a diagonal shape in the frame. :toast:

Love the mood captured here. I especially enjoy the alignment of the cloud pattern and white water... it sweeps the eye through the image. Nice work!

It looks great Geoffrey, the long exposure suits the landscape. Interesting foreground rocks too.

Very nice. This looks great in b/w. I really like the sharp detail in the rocks in contrast with the long exposure on the water and sky.. Very nice comp also.

Nice b/w image with great composition! I love the look of moving water with long exposure times. And the well-thought composition adds the little bit extra to this image.

I think the comp is really great here. The sky is what really sets this image apart from others. That and the bright areas in the fg rocks bring the whole thing together for me!

Geoffrey,

I'll echo Dietrich's comments that the b&w rendition of this seascape works very well here. The contrast and tonal range seems just right. Well done.

Impressive! The long exposure is very effective here, great drama! I feel like it's tilted CCW a little.

A lovely seascape. The movement in the clouds matches that of the water very nicely. I also love the range of tones throughout the frame. Great work, Geoffrey.
