I haven't posted in a while, so I thought it was time. This is quite a crop. I predicted its path and stopped my car in time to shoot as it flew by.

1/640, f/7.1, 500mm
D300S, Sigma 150-500mm

C&C welcome,
Raymond

Despite the crop you managed some nice detail on the underside of the wings, nice flight shot Raymond :toast:

I've tried that technique before Raymond but they typically veer away from me when I stop the vehicle. You got nice light on this underside view.

Very nice, the pose of the bird is great, and I wouldn't have guessed it was "quite a crop". Beautiful flight shot.

The cloudy sky background is beautiful Raymond. I also like the spread of the tail and wings. Really lovely light too.

Bird seems nice and sharp. Looks like you got him pretty well.
