"Thompson Pass Fall Colors" Taken September, 2005 right as a rainstorm was ending and the sun blasted through the clouds and lit up the wet alpine tundra in all it's fall glory.

7 vertical photos stitched with AutopanoPro. All shots taken with a Sony DSC-F707 @ ISO-100, f7.1, 1/100

Believe it or not, I actually de-saturated this a tiny bit because I didn't think anyone would believe the intensity of the colors in the originals.

Please view the larger version. It's still too small to fully appreciate the scene but it has a whole lot more presence than the small one.

Beautiful panorama. I love the sky and the colors. It must have been wonderful to be there.

Outstanding!!!!! I love the sweeping curve of the burnt orange foliage in the foreground. The stream on the right is also an appealing element.

Fantastic pano Gary. I would love to see the photo without the saturation reduced.

What a grand scene, and you could not ask for better weather conditions. I would love to stand in front of a print about 5 feet wide (or bigger) and explore this for a long time.
