I love walking in the woods during fall, there are plenty of opportunities to take pics and collect fruits.
This one was taken one year ago in a Regional Park of North Italy.

A nice start for this challenge, Monica. I love that rich red leaf. We don't get any really red leaves on the large trees up here, only in the smaller berry bushes and alpine tundra plants.

Very nice. I love the simplicity of a single beautiful colored leaf against the bark. The bg is beautiful and I like the twig in the lower right corner.

I love the leaf, but unlike Barb i find the curly thing in the corner pulls my attention away from the main subject, so i would crop for a vertical format. Nice entry! :smile:

I'm in agreement with Stan about the little curly artifact in the LRHC. Something more substantial would have added some interest. But as is, it's more of a distraction from the primary element. The composition becomes stronger by cropping as Stan suggests.
