My second submission on the forum this shot was taken at the same time as my first so not ideal light , hopefully get out tommorow to practise some new techniques if it stops raining!
Cannon 40D
Cannon F5.6 @400mm Tripod Mounted
1/1250
ISO-200
Expo Comp -0.7
Small crop on left hand side of image to assist in composition
Small amount of cloning on left hand side to erase stray twig.
I do the minimum I can in PP as I am really poor in this area so try to avoid it if possible , but I am happy with the small amount I have done on this post.
As usual I look forward to your excellent feedback
Regards
Adam

Nice pose, Adam and the perch is great. I think I'd take some off the right side to help balance the composition-there seems to be more room than necessary over there. :toast:

Love perch , pose and BG. Light is nice for me . Agree with Dennis about comp.
It's difficult to judge the overall quality of the shot because of the small size.

Love the perch pose and light. I think a vertical would work better here.

Very nice. Would like to see a 1200 p version to see the detail better. Also agree a vertical crop would work. :wavey:

Adam,

I think this looks like a lovely little bird and agree with taking some of the right to make this a vertical, the comp would be stronger. I can't judge details and sharpness at this size, you could repost a 720 pixel version so we could evaluate the details & sharpness.

Neat little bird, nice image. Maybe a bit off the right side would help plus abit from the top. Thanks for sharing, hope to see more.
