Morning Journey

I set and ponder the days that I wonder.
Meteorite flys by, a billion years come back to me.
Earth is alive but so sterile.
Sunrise, its blood orange glow, luminacity earth and sky.
Clarity fills my heart and eyes.
Young Bobcate runs across my path.
Wonderlust, compositions are a billion and counting.

Great spot, great moment. Including the missing piece from the bottom of the rock might give a better comp IMO. Great foreground detail.

I really like this subject and composition. Not a bad poet either.

The comp and light are working nicely. Pulling a little cyan/blue out here would bring in some additional warmth to the frame. That would be my preference, but understand that others might see it differently.

The hard thing to do with these type shots is, get the tops of the near buttes/mesas to be higher, or lower than the tops of the distant ones. I think there needs to be some relief there. Aside from that this works fine for me. Might like some drama, or colorful sky.
