Taken early one very cold and frosty Winter's morning at Llangorse Lake in the Brecon Beacons National Park, Wales, UK.
You can just see the frost on the foreground stones.

The Sun was still behind a mountain and I liked the way it lit up the clouds.

Sony A350
Sigma 10-20 EX
1/3 sec
f16
ISO 100
15mm
-0.3 stop exposure compensation
Centre-weighted metering
Tripod
Cable release
Probably used a Cokin X-Pro 2 stop ND grad, I usually do.

I love the "mood" here. Well-seen!

Nice sunset and boat colors, and very cold-appearing water.
A few steps to the left might have placed the boat a bit off-center for added interest.

For some reason, the rope placed in the fg doesn't add to much to the scene as my eye focuses firstly on the boat and then on the beautiful light in the bg. It's not big deal though as the scene inspires peace and calm.

That blue boat makes for a striking shot with the sky! Nice comp, too!

Striking cntrasts Geoffrey. The bright blue boat against the muted sky and lanscape work well.
