A recent image. It was taken a few weeks ago on the way back to Crescent Meadow while backpacking along the High Sierra Trail. The fog was absolutely intense at that time.

Cool perspective Michael. The heavy fog is outstanding for this scene and creates a very spooky atmosphere.

Saw this on photo.net. Totally awesome shot Michael. Great perspective and very moody. Nothing to critique.

What super conditions! I've always wanted to shoot the Sequoias in the fog, but haven't had the chance yet. A well balanced and executed up-tree shot

A common idea/perspective done really well. The fog and the contrast really lift this one.

Michael,

Gives "worms eye view" new meaning. Reduces us to our insignificance among giants well done.

Micheal,

Just stunning! The B&W treatment is perfect for this and the perspective really gives the trees a great sense of height. Awesome.

Very mystical feel to this. BW treatment works very well for this.

I like this a lot Michael - the soft processing really aids this as well. Would love to see this printed large!

REAL nice, Michael! If i were to be super picky, i find the one dark tree in the urhc a bit strong, but everything else is so cool it hardly matters. :toast:

That's really cool. The fog and BW really set this apart from your typical "looking up at trees" shot.
