The northern tip of Isola del Giglio, on a cloudy and windy morning about ten days ago.

Your C&C are as always highly appreciated, thanks in advance for your time.

The comp is a little obvious but it creates a nice abstraction here. The solid rocks are a nice counterpoint to the dynamic sky. Maybe the ocean in between is a little too vast and I'm thinking about a lower viewpoint with a possible 4x5 crop. Overall very well done though, Paolo.

Actually, I like this as is. I think without the larger expanse of water the clouds would become overbearing. I wish it had more color, but you get what you get, huh?

Thanks Andreas and Bill, I appreciate your comments.
Bill, I actually desaturated this, I ended up with liking it better in subdued colours.

Nice photo. I had the same thoughts as Andreas. The colours look good to me.

I don't mind this, its almost a separation of the elements kind of image. Earth water sky inextricably linked yet each their own.

Very nice image Paolo. I do like Andreas suggestion on the 4x5 crop.

I think this looks great. I like the effect of the long exposure and the composition works well. The expanse of ocean is not too much for me.

Hi Paolo,
I like your composition and exposure a lot here, I think it can look really beautiful on a big print. Focus is perfect!

I love the sky--but to be honest im not really interested in the jumble of rocks in the fg--just not a rock guy i guess.

Very nice. The contrast between the static and in-motion elements creates quite a dynamism here.
