Double Suns

I have been away from this site for a while, as I have been traveling a lot in the last two months, and spent some time to build my own photography website. From now on, I hope I can post some photos I took recently and also study more on others' works.

This is the photo I took back in June - winter in Sydney. The first heavy fog in my area came a bit late this year. It was an unusual misty morning since the sun was already quite high but I still could include it into the frame without too much trouble due to the heavy fog blocking the sun light a lot.

Excellent shot Yan. The light and the reflecyions in the water is so beautiful. Well composed and executed. I just love dark and moody pictures. :toast:

A beautiful and well balanced image, Yan. I like the way the reeds on the right balance with the larger tree on the left. The sun is also well balanced in the frame, and creates a wonderfully moody illumination in the foggy atmosphere. Excellent work!

I love the surreal color palette here. The placement of the sun is perfect.

Very nice Yan, very quiet and peaceful. I particularly like the reflection of the reeds on the right side.

Wonder atmosphere. This almost has a nighttime feel to it.

I like this a lot, I think it can be a little headeache to decide how to print it but the atmosphere and composition are really great!

Hi folks, thanks very much for your comments.

Luis, in terms of print, very often I found the print outcome might be quite different from its digital look. I spent some time in my local printing places, both professional and normal, no unified solution. Looks like it is case by case based. Some cheap printing place can produce better result than professional one.

Hi Kah Kit, thanks for your comment. This is in my campus, but quite unusual this time.

The fog and tree silhouettes make this a very mystical and mysterious image.
I would love to have been there that day. Well done Yan.
