Light lake

Hi all,

It seems that time is shorter than ever these days. Where is my childhood so I can go back to it from time to time?

Not the case for the day whose beginning is shown here. It was a long and beautiful day, one to be remembered and to which I can relate to whenever I'm stressed, sad or angry. Thank God nature exists to make us happier.

This was shot in Fagaras Mountains, the highest mountain range in my country (compared to what you guys have, it's not that high at all). Hope you like it.

450d, Tokina 12-24

Check out the M&N shot to see where we slept the following night.

A mountain paradise, love it! I like all the curving lines throughout, it gives the eye much to explore. Thanks for the personal note on your experience.

Looks like a beautiful area, Height is overrated anyhow, There are some beautiful mountains out there that arn't nearly as tall as others, but much more aesthetic. Great work.

What a wonderful place Dorin, masterfully photographed. Those 3D clouds reflected in the lake are the ice on the cake in my opinion. I'd really love to visit this area some time.

The clarity of the image is astounding Dorin. That nice, little tarn offers a perfect reflection and the outbreak of clouds compliment the scene well. The color is wonderfully natural. The middle part of the image looks a bit dry and I am wondering if a slight vibrance boost (at least for web viewing) wouldn't add an appealing bit of punch to the image. The only other thing that slightly detracts is I kind of feel right side looks a bit too tight. Very minor though. This is a very well crafted professional image that anyone would be proud of :wavey:

Lovely. I like how the two bodies of water reflect different scenes adding a bit of mystery. Light is very nicely done.
