Late afternoon sun gave the rocks golden glow on the Lake Superior shore, but it was the cloud at distance attracted my attention.

I was wondering what people shoot out in Chicago. Your low key processing makes that tiny little cloud stand along with the foam.

This is very nice. I really like it. The texture of the rock in the foreground is striking, with the little bit of surf acting as an exclamation point. I like your high elevation of the horizon and I agree that the sky is an enhancing element. The lines in the rock lead our eyes directly to that little white cloud in the distance.

This is somewhat different and am quite impressed how that tiny white clouds is such a strong focal point. I like the artsy colors.

Interesting FG rocks (with lovely textures & glow) leading into the waters. Some really wild blues in the sky and its reflection.

Very surreal mood and landscape, John! I really your interpretation as it breaks 'the known patterns' regarding coastal light quite well.

Very cool shot. I too really like the small white cloud and how it works so well with the breaking wave. Quite an interesting shot, and I like it. Where at on Lake Superior was this?
