Yes, another mottled duck. But hey, this one is a female and the BG is different. That is why I like this image so much. The colors of the bird's bill and feathers go so well with the BG. At least I like it. Bird is not tack sharp, but it works I think. What do you all think? Please view larger image for max detail.

I like it a lot Ron! Colors looked nice in this frame! Nice in flight!
My only nit (small one) would be a little more catch light in the eye.

Awesome fall colors (even if it's a bit early for them) with your classic sharpness and a beautiful pose. One of the best DIF (duck in flight) shots I've seen.

Funny you should mention fall colors Luke, given I am in FL and we don't typically get "fall" colors until Feb or Mar most years. The BG here is bulrushes in the very early morning orange glow light and that does bring on the fall color affect. Thanks for the comment.

I think I like this one the most. Beautiful soft lighting, muted colors and a pleasingly blurred background, good comp. Could be sharper but doesn't bother me at all Ron. Nicely done. I'll take this one.

Nice pose, great sharpness, direct look, but overall I like colors, with so many shades of brown.
