I'm not really an avian gallery regular posting wise but I do always enjoy the images here so now I finally have something to share I though I would

A puffin at the most western edge of Iceland at Latrabjarg. Truly a great place to photograph these little guys (and somehting I've always wanted to do!)

Thanks for looking!

Beautiful lighting and I like the way you have pulled back a little and not gone for a full frame head shot. Great work

Great capture Jorne, very well composed and the colors are great as is the detail from what I can gather from the small size. Lighting is beautiful...well done and hope to see more of your avian photos.

tough dynamic range - but it can be forgiven for such a novice avian photog ;-)

In all seriousness, a lovely seen with great composition. I would have liked a TOUCH more grass along the bottom on the right side though so the blue water/sky didn't touch the edge of the frame.

This is special and a good example of a head turn away from the camera that works. Nicely done :toast: Sharon

Well you ought to hang out here more often! Impressive Puffin image, has a nice feel with the dark blue background and thoughtful expression. I do see a small sharpening halo on the back of the bird, minor issue.
