We were hiking in the valley of five lakes in Banff National Park when we came across this flower in seed. I really like the image, but I would like to get some more input.

Aperture Priority
Shutter 1/250
Aperture f11
ISO 1250
70mm

Richard:
Its fun shooting dandelion. The intricate architecture is really interesting. As for this image, it appears a bit dark and may benefit for some increase in exposure or fill light.

Nicely done Richard. I agree it's a tad dark but should be able to brighten easily. I would try to boost the "white" in your level control if available. I find this to be a very tough shot to pull off and have it look nice when I've tried, this one is probably one of the nicest I've seen. Well done. :toast:

Nice details and interesting composition. As others have said, it's very dark. Nicely done otherwise.

Liked the way the soft hairs are spreading outwards. Well seen and captured.
