I was able to escape for a few days of backpacking in the Flat Tops wilderness in Yampa Colorado. The weather and cloud cover was very cooperative. I took this image on Saturday morning. Any comments or criticism is always appreciated.

Very special conditions. I like the comp. I'm wondering if this might benefit from just a little less contrast especially in the lighter tones to pull down the light areas of sky just a bit.

Awesome work Shaun! The clarity and color from the thumbnail totally grabbed me. I'm guessing this was a several second exposure? Looks like beautiful country there.

Shaun, a really nice persoective and scene here. The various elements work well together.
However, the blues seem very over-saturated to me, and unrealistic.
Bringing them down to a more realistic cast would improve this a lot.
Saturation is a funny thing - a light hand usually works best.

Here is a repost based on some feedback. I have pulled some of the cyan out of the sky as well as reduced the contrast curve in the highlights.

Any thoughts?
