Beach Four II

A second posting of a seascape from Beach 4 on the Olympic Peninsula. Four consecutive evenings yielded fog and cloud, so I tried to focus on more intimate seascapes. A very different look than the one I posted recently, because I think it conveys the expanse of open ocean. Large image posted. Comments appreciated as always.

I think it looks great! I might be tempted to take a little off the bottom. Stretching it out a little might be more effective?

There is a simplicity to this that is appealing. Even though the rocks are centered, they don't actually feel that way because of the horizon line in the upper part of the frame.

Matthew,

Very minimalistic, yet I find this quite striking. What lacks in bold colors is found by some very nice textures in the water throughout. and it's those textures that would keep me from cropping any off the bottom, although one could make the case.

I think this is very strong and worthy to have in one's portfolio. Well done.
