A single small piece of the huge Vatnajökull Glacier is slowly being consumed by the Atlantic Ocean at night.

Totally strange image....never seen anything quite like this. It almost looks like you can see the ice being melted into the water...very trippy and cool shot.

I think this is pretty cool. I don't know if the black border was a good choice, but at least your watermark allows us to see how much space the bottom portion occupies in order to judge the arrangement of elements. I like the soft pastels throughout the image, and the small chunk of ice makes a great anchor. All in all, pretty nice.

Thanks guys.
Ron: good one about the border, I'm so tired I did not think of that one!

Nice. Have you got the stats (f-stops, exposure) for the shot please? I like the overall pastel feel to the shot - very nice!

I like the sense of loneliness and depth here created by the brightness above.

Surreal Jorne. I have seen a lot of similar images taken in Iceland but these always show a deep blue/grey sky and backlit ice this is a delicious variation and the sweeping surf line is very nice.

A beautiful and artistic shot. Needs a 2 pixel white border around it to separate the bottom from the background. Gorgeous pastels.

Wonderful! Also, cropping out the sky makes for a trippy abstract, almost like the ice is on fire.

Love this shot!
I only wish the ultra close foreground was not so sharply dark.
