Farne Islands, Northumberland, UK

We spent one day on Farne Islands and our eyes (and memory cards) were full of puffins and terns and seals. This is one of the rare shots with other subjects.

Thank for looking

Wow! This is really nice...I almost wish the bird in the upper right wasn't there, but this is still very nice as is. Nice contrast and sharp! Sharon

Great poses on these gulls, the 2 fighting and the one in the right bottom corner make this a neat action shot :toast:

A really cool and unique shot - I like everything about this except for the gull whose head is turned away from the camera - that's a real shame!

Perfect timing on this interesting behavior. I like the background too.

Thank you all for the kind comments.
We think that the gull with the head turned away was looking at the fish as the lower one. That was the focal point!

Daniel and Loana, this is a fabulous behavioral image. Well composed as well. I like the space on the left in the direction of travel and to me, every gull in this image is doing what it should, positioning for food. Love it.

This is excellent,an aerial ballet whose climax is the fight for the prey. Like a lot the ring formed by gulls' bodies and fish.
Congrats.
