A Granular Tree Frog (Hypsiboas cinerascens) defiant on its leaf. February 2008. Taken in the Amazon Rain Forest at Los Amigos Biological Research Station, Madre de Dios, Peru.

Thank you for looking - all comments and suggestions are more than welcome. I was wondering specifically about how well the red leaf background works and the title? I thought about calling it Kermit, but thought it cheesy . . .

Lindsay:
Bright contrasting colors here! Good selective focus and sharp where is counts. The comp is a little tight and would prefer more room around.

Will never get tired of tree frog shots... the red leaf sets this little guy off so well - I just wish for some more breathing room.

Hey Lindsay, great details, love the contrast of the colors, and agree with Luke, it needs more room all around.

You couldn't have chosen better contrasting color Lindsay, red and green! Amazing frog, does remind me of Kermit indeed so I would have excused you for that title.

A bit more room all around would be nice. Great work!

Beautiful capture Lindsay, although I do agree with the comp suggestions. I like the red bg, it sets the frog off nicely. Well done.
