Inchworm Moth
by Gary Yeoh
The Inchworm moth (Dyspania militaris) likes to perch on the underside of leaves making taking pictures challenging. For this image, I had to lie low to view the screen. The moth was in thick vegetation and consequently had to use flash.
D90 300mmF4 F8 1/100 on camera flash 1/4. The use of flash is pretty obvious. I would be interested to hear comments on how to improve the flash effect eg diffuser, off camera etc. Thanks for looking and C&C appreciated.
