This is Peck's lake in the southern Adirondacks of NY, taken at first light Sunday.

D5000, f/11, 1 sec, 21 mm zoom, 812 filter, tripod.

Comment appreciated and thanks for looking.

Good grief, zero comments  Whats with these lazy posters anyhow. Well, i thnk this is a pretty good shot,, just isnt mind blowing which is apparently what people expect from every shot posted here. It conveys a real nice (cool) mood, great color and feel. I think the reason it isnt mind-blowing is that the comp is not really focused, there's too much going on subject-wise for it to be purely mood-envoking, but no strong focus or subject--my eyes tend to wander from the tree on the lhs to the trees on the rhs to the rock in the corner--in short, all over. Pretty shot though--definitely worth more than my lone comment!

Thanks for ths input Stan, just think everyones thoughts are else where this time of year, as can be seen by the general lack of comments. Fall is coming, so interest should pick up.
