The delicate flowing lines of the begonia have always fascinated me. Comments appreciated.

Beautiful image Albert. I like it very much as posted. My only thought and it's probably a little strange is that I might crop slightly from the viewer's right so that every petal in the image is truncated. May just be me. Otherwise exceptional IMO.

Superb shot Albert. Great lines, color, and detail. I do see validity in Pat's crop suggestion, although very nice as is also.

Excellent handling of the reds, the comp, the textures and lines. Love it as is, and would also consider the crop suggestion. Beautiful and unusual take of a begonia. :toast:

Hah-hah! I thought this might be a begonia! Way to capture the essential characteristic of a flower in a small part of it as an abstract. The image is vibrant and detailed and makes a wonderful design. Good to put the stem in, too. Very well done, Albert. Cheers for this one.

A wonderful study in line, texture & tone. Did you play around with any other cropping alternatives Albert? I'll bet there are at least a few more intriguing options hiding in this beauty.

The begonia is not an easy model for me but you took it beautifully. You have caught the soul of this flower: its shinig skin, the delicate colors, the elegant lines of the design, the movement of the petals. Splendid, Albert.
Cheers.
