Just got back from a trip to Iceland. WOW, if you get a chance to go, GO!! They introduced lupines as a soil erosion plan....but as with anything "introduced", it has become very invasive throughout Iceland. Grand vista of miles of lupines but...
Here is a sample taken just outside if a town called Vik.

Now that's a field of lupines!!! Slight halo around cliffs, but otherwise a real beauty. Print it large. :toast:

WOW is right! This is beautiful. I never had a desire to go to Iceland but this makes me want to see this in person.

And I thought the lupine at Mount Rainier (my backyard) was nice....
I really like the low vantage point and the in-your-face composition you chose. Nice stuff.

Wow sums it up nicely! What a view! Nicely composed image. I love the vaastness of the field - Lupines as far as the eye can see! Sweet!

Bob: Looks like a little bit of Texas moved their way. The flowers are wonderful but the light on the BG hills and the brooding sky put this way over the top for me. Superior image.>=))> :toast: :toast:

Fantastic florascape! :toast: :toast: The Pano crop is just perfect and the inclusion of the entire mountain and the lighting on the slopes are top notch stuff.

Good heavens! What an amazing site! Mixed blessing perhaps with it being invasive there, but WOW is right.

Wow, an impressive field of lupine Bob. This image is even more impressive with the light falling on the distant mountains. I'd love to go there some day.
