Interesting image Charles. Great detail and I like the complementary colors and droplets.

I've been trying to take an interesting shot of this (I think it's everyday name is Common Mullein), but have not taken anything I'm happy with. Now maybe I'll stop trying because I'm not going to equal this. Excellent and creative composition.

I don't believe that for a second, Doug. I can easily think of other interesting possibilities, and that's just what I can think of.
I know it as common mullein too. But when I looked it up on Wikipedia I found a really long list of common names. One that jumped out at me was "cowboy toilet paper." I find that if I write (and to a lesser extent type) out the scientific names I have a better chance of remembering them.

Nicely rendered, Charles. The water drops are sweet! I agree, looks like Common Mullein.

Very good detail in the nice side light. I don't know if I've ever noticed this species before.
I like this as presented but from a purely astetical perspective I think a vertical crop to eliminate most of the LH vegatation (and clone out what little remains) would really make this shine.
