Alas, the pale pink lilies series has run its course. Playing catch up from a month's backlog of sesions.

Camera - 5DMII
Lens - 100mm F/2.8 L IS USM Macro
Format - RAW
ISO - 50
Metering - Manual, probably 1 stop under
Focusing - Manual, using Liveview and a Hoodman Loupe w/3X Magnifier
Mirror locked up
Tripod and remote release

RAW files processed in LR3, tweaking black, clarity and luminescence

Photoshop, using nik Color Efex 3.0 Pro filters

Beautifully composed Steve, excellent color and light. Another winner in my opinion.

Hi Steven :wavey: In another life, you were probably a floral arranger  Love the flowing lines, light and color  Simple, and very classic. :smile

Steven: Great comp and wonderful exposure on the flowers. I do see some wrinkling of your BG near the bottom which I would like you to fix before you send me a 16x24 print. Wonderful image. >=))>

Thank you John, Mark, and Morris. Trademark lighting, umm, wish I could trademark it! Funny thing is I feel better about my lighting now then when I had my portrait studio. Kathy, thank you, but this one flies solo. No additional sessions. One session and done. For the Hosta. Thank you Wayne, it was the graceful curves to the two stems that challenged me to pose them.

Thank you Albert. In another life I may be a Dung Beetle. :jump:

Thank you Gary, Doug, May, Debashis, and eagle eye Bill. I couldn't see it on my workstation! Fixed it, where do I send the 16"x24" wall decor print? Signed?

I would think an unpromising subject, Steven, but this shows what you can do with flowers that do not easily compose themselves ! Lovely composition, great whites and just the right amount of dark on the stem.

Ian, thank you. It was the two flowers on the right stem that initially got my attention, and it wasn't until I began to play with the two stems and this arrangement came about that I felt I had something to point my camera at. FYI, the one verigated leaf was snipped separately and secured to the one stem as a "prop".
