A pair were nesting by the Campground at Logan Lake, B.C. last month. I'd only seen one in winter before.

1D MkIV, 500mm + 1.4X, 1/250 @ f8, ISO800, early morning light, tripod.

I bet this is one of the same pair I got last year - several shots in my gallery.
Was the nest about 50 feet offshore, down the path to the lake?
