Twin Peaks at sunrise. The darker peaks are due to a cloud blocking the sun partially.

Fitz Roy range, Patagonia, Argentina.

400mm / SR polarizer.

As always, critiques and comments are truly appreciated !

gorgeous light. I would rather see the peaks are illuminated, but this is quite opposite and focus eyes on the glaciers which have a lot of intricate details

I've seen these peaks and love them then. Your capture makes me nostalgic now... Very nice, Ricardo. For me, the snow cover makes the shot.

I really like your original vision of the place and this is no exception. Pure beauty!

It's all about the symmetry here. I like the fact that both peaks are in shadow to reinforce the symmetry. In the perfect world I wish the LLC wasn't in such deep shadow for the aforementioned reason, but this is still wonderful as it is.

Very strong image. Wonderful textures and light. Is this cropped? My preference would be for a bit more space at both sides.

Thanks for the feedback guys

Gabi: you can always come back here man!

Tony: Thanks. It´s cropped just a little from the top and right to center both peaks in the frame. There was a big shadowed area on the left, that´s why i decided to go with this more intimate composition.

Stunning glacier textures Ricardo! Did you notice the shadow of the lower left corner when you shoot? That's the minor nit of the photograph IMO

Best regards
Roberto

Gracias Roberto.
Yes of course, i noticed the shadow, but there was nothing i can do without cutting the left peak. And i wanted to include some of the lower part of the glacier because the light there was great. I think i can live with that shadow

Excellent and dramatic lighting here Ricardo! :toast:

I am a bit distracted by the bottom left shadow. You could just "warp" that out...

Fantastic image Ricardo. There is such a realness to this image I feel like I could reach out and touch it. The shadows and the creaminess of the snow is spellbinding. Great work.
