This photo was taken the same day as my last dragonfly post. We had just gotten an afternoon rain before I took this shot.
Canon 7D with tripod, Aperture Priority, 1/250sec, F/9, ISO 640, Canon 70-300mm @300mm, crop just enough to off-center the DF.
Large version added.

I am enjoying your DF postings. The perch on this one is nice and colorful. The water drops add interest and the BG is pleasing. The DF of course is beautiful.

This isn't easy to do with the 70-300. The BG looks good and the detail is great where needed :wavey:
