This is the 7th of 8 shots taken to be stitched for a pano of the Painted Hills in Central Oregon. I thought this one was interesting enough to stand on its own. I wish I had more room at the top and in hindsight I might have zoomed out a little, but the sky was pale and unappealing and it would have created other compositional issues at the opposite end of the completed pano. It may seem oversaturated, but only minor adjustments of vibrancy and saturation were made in ACR. After opening the image I lightenend the shadows by 1 point and the colors exploded. About 10% cropped off the bottom. Comments welcome, thanks for looking.

This is really nice and some great colors. I can also see cropping some off the top to remove the distant ridge. Some nice fault offset, too.

What a fantastic place I'm sure the pano will look just as great!

Well done, Bruce. I like the way that you've composed the image.
The diagonal lines work well, and I like the colors, particularly the
addition in the lower left of the reddish, maroon hue I've been to
the Painted Hills several times and have always enjoyed the experience.
From my times there, this does not look over-saturated to me.

Hey Bruce,
love the colors and textures.....perhaps a hair more room up top....but this is just lovely!

Bruce,

Man, I'd love to see the final pano of this! I've seen the broader view from here (although I've never been...) and I really like your more intimate portrait of this place. the overcast lighting has allowed the richness of the colors to come through; and they look natural. The repeating lines and patterns make for a great design and an overall wonderfully captured landscape.

"Typical" but very nice rendition of these hills. I like the view, and the "real" representation of the colors here. Might be a little tight on the top for me.
