This Robin landed among magnolia petals that littered the ground beneath a tree. The Robin was collecting twigs for its nest when it noticed me, gave me a quick glance, and took off. This is the second image in my magnolia series (The first was posted in Flora: Magnolia Blossom)

I appreciate your feedback! Thanks!

Wow, this is awesome! Definitely has a lot of flare for such an ordinary species. The colorful setting is a treat and the mouthful of twigs makes this a great behavioral shot too. Love the low angle. :toast:

I like this too. It is a treat to see more common subjects in uncommon settings. :toast:

You may consider cropping more off the bottom, there is a lot of OOF foreground but that is just a matter of preference.

I like this! Lot's of different elements that make it unique. Seems a tad dark to me, but brightening may blow out the petals. Very minor. :toast:

Very interesting take on a common bird. I like the bed of magnolia petals, and the inclusion of behavior in the shot :wavey:
