Simon, I like the simplicity of the image with a sharp bird in good light on smooth blue water. Detail and exposure look good and I love that eye. I enjoy the comparison between your species and our pied-billed.

Simon,
This is delightful as posted. I love the smooth water, the tiny bow wave, eye contact, details and sharpness. The exposure also look great. Comparing your grebes to our pied-billed id fun too.
Very well done.

Nothing to criticize in this - wonderful detail; nice reflection; clean water; believable color; nice low shooting position.

Simon:
I like the low angle, the reflection, and water droplets, but its the variation in color and texture of the head (including the vivid eye) that I find most attractive.

This is just awesome! Wonderful species to see! Everything about this is beautful. To get real picky it looks like it needs just a tad CW rotation to line up the reflection. Very minor all the same.
