Evening Fire on Shastina

This image of Mount Shastina was taken from my room as the Sun was casting its evening light on the slopes. I particularly liked the lighting and tone of this image which was processed by punching up contrast a bit in Photoshop CS4.

A unique take on the mountain. I have seen many pictures of Mt. Shastina but this is very different and lovely at the same time.

Ken,

From your room? Tough, I don't know how many could handle the view. Great timing with the late evening light. Colors and contrast look great to me. Very nice image.

Lon - I must admit I feel a bit guilty having taken this from my room but I had just checked in and looked out and there it was! Thanks for the feedback. --Ken

Ok Ken -there's a difference between the room you "check in" to vs. the room maybe where you wake every day... Had me jealous there for a second.

This is really nice. I'm surprised there aren't more comments. Great lighting and I really like the color. I think I'd prefer a little bit of detail in the LRC.
