Dug up a photo I've been wanting to process for awhile after finally getting some time. After returning to this spot several times, this was the best of the light displays. I might have tried again next year, but I've never seen the wind carvings this good.

Wonderful leading lines, and the patterns of snow on the sandstone are fascinating. Looks cold!

I like the fg you have chosen. the curves and lines really set the shot up well.

Ron,

This is a wonderful image that combines the fascinating sandstone formations with some wind-blown snow and you've captured this beautifully with the help of an outstanding sky as well. The only suggestion I have would be to somehow dodge the snow and rocks in the LLC. I expect there was maybe some rocks or things blocking the light or angles causing the left corner to be somewhat darker, but I might be inclined to try and even that out. No biggie though. The main field of snow and the "fin" really pull the viewer in.

It's difficult for me to make satisfactory judgments on my uncalibrated monitor, but to me, the reds in the rocks and the blue in the sky both seem relatively over-saturated. Otherwise, I'm into it.

Kent, I know what you mean. I had the same complaint prior to posting this. When I look at this on an uncalibrated monitor, the colors don't look quite right. In addition, it also looked differently when I opened it with Internet Explorer & Firefox. I decided to post a version that looked well on my screen in Internet Explorer, thinking that would be the most common browser used. Still, it'll probably look differently with each monitor. Thanks for the comment.
