Bleeding Heart

A white variety of the the native eastern bleeding heart (Dicentra eximia 'Alba'). Due to the lack of a clean/suitable BG, I used a piece of black foamboard. Natural, late evening light. All comments/suggestions much appreciated.

Sony A300, Tamron 90 macro, 4 sec. @ f16, 200, Ev. -.3, tripod

Beautifully done Phillip. Perfect light for my tastes and the black bg works extremely well to show of the blooms. I'd love to see these in the wild at some point.

Very nice, Philip :cool: - Lighting of course is great but I also like how the two blooms are sandwiched in between two buds.

You captured this bleeding heart with wonderful light. The detail is excellent. Really need to see it in the larger photo to appreciate it.
