It's a really interesting comp - well conceived and executed; but something doesn't click for me overall. Can't put my finger on it though to explain it.

Needs to be a bit more open. The comp is good, but there needs to be something besides rock and water.

Danny,

I like this. Great example and use of a near/far composition where the two different cascades kind of play on each other, or compliment one another. My only nit or suggestion would be to tone down that bright brown patch where it looks like the sun is hitting the water. It's not over exposed or anything, just a bit bright and detracts just a little bit. Otherwise, I think this is nicely framed and composed.

A neat intimate of the cascades. The two spots of light are well handled. I have a slight preference for a bit more of the rock at the bottom edge.

simple and effective. the spot of sunlight on the left is a little distracting.

Lovely one, Danny. That's a kind of place that I spent so many days of the year in - rocks and water. You seemed to have had the same issues like I had at the weekend - annoying harsh light. While I like the hotspots on the waterfall, the brown patches just gather a little too much interest. Technically and composition-wise the shot is great.

I like this one. I love the comp and how you included both cascades in your comp.

A very nice composition of rocks and water. What makes it special for me are these patches of light. They adda quite some interesting and life to the scene. Technically it is also very competently done. Good work!

I love those patches of warm light. Beautiful composition and great handling of a difficult exposure.

I like the simpleness Danny, it could pass for a larger waterscape too!

I really like this. Wonderful texture and detail, front to back, and those sun-splashes are great focal points. My only though would be to maybe try and coax out a bit more texture in the white at the top of the falls on the left.

A simple little scene but I think its very well composed. Smaller falls can be just as good as larger ones, right?
I too love the patches of warm light.

I can understand thinking the rocks at the bottom should not be featured to prominently in the composition, but as the currently sit at the edge, they feel almost accidental. I don't know how you would have pulled it off without shifting things in the rest of the nice composition. I like the light as is.
