This was from my recent trip to Western Colorado and Dinosaur National Monument. The large formation to the left is Steamboat Rock. I witnessed these storm clouds roll by (it was quite windy) in the evening and was lucky to capture this spot of light on the top of the rock at the same time a bright spot in the clouds was going by behind. There was no dodging done to the photo. This location, Echo Park, was nicknamed the "Center of the Universe," since it played an integral part in native creation myths and subsequent visitors continue to be in awe of the natural majesty of this place where the Yampa and Green Rivers meet.
