A confident fox photographed near Gran Paradiso, a wonderful mountain in Italy. She has no fear of man and is so curious that you can get very close to her.

Very nice head shot of this wild fox. Detail is very nice, and the background is perfect.

Great portrait, beautiful eyes. There is something OOF in the FG that is a bit distracting, otherwise a great image

Nice intimate portrait, Marco. My eye, also, found the OOF zone on the neck under her chin to be a little distracting. I really like the serene expression and the obviously wet nose.

Thanks for your comments.
Yes, there was something between me and the fox, I think a bush or a tree branch, that has resulted in the OOF zone, but that has allowed me to shot this close portrait (and many others..).

Beautiful portrait! Love all the details on her face, and those eyes! I don't mind too much the oof area as it softens her portrait nicely. I think it's a really fine shot. Must be quite exciting to see her and be able to get so close.

Nice portrait and clarity. The oof spot should be easy to remove in PS. I find the cropped ear unfortunate; in this cases like this I either really crop it, or I leave it in. Here it almost looks accidental to me, because only a little piece of the ear is missing. Making a more drastic crop will often make it look more like a deliberate decision instead of something that you just did not notice when taking the shot. Hope that makes sense.

The oof area to the bottom right does not bother me; in fact, I like the dreamy look this gives the image. However, the clipped ear does distract. And, I'd even selectively sharpen the eye a little bit.
