Attack!

This is right up there with my most recent macro post depicting an Eastern Box Turtle with blood red flesh all over its face (from a strawberry). I had a wonderful time photographing this Groundhog and didn't realize I had taken this until I got home... he seemed to have been taking out some serious anger on these grasses. Makes me laugh every time and I hope it does for you as well. I'm aware of the imperfections (mostly the vegetation in front of the face/body) but I think the expression overwhelms those shortcomings.

I like this alot, Luke. Great shot. I sure wouldn't want my finger in there. It is a fun picture to look at with that great expression. The vegetation in front of the face / body is no problem IMO.

Makes those Grizzly Bears look like puppies. You are one brave man, Luke. Good thing you weren't made of grass.

Made me laugh too Luke. Looks like he's taking out all of his worldly frustrations on those grasses.
