The only food related pictures I have is berries (unless you count moose) so here's another one.
I was picking salmon berries on a nice sunny day and noticed a ray of sunlight had found a hole in the thick bushes and had lit up a single fat berry deep inside. Since it was in my back yard, I ran in the house and got the camera. The only way to get close to the berry without disturbing the bushes was to get on my belly and carefull crawl underneath. Then I had to use my elbows for tripods while I wiggled the camera up close to the berry and got the shot. Live view really paid off here.
Salmon berries are very translucent and the sunlight shines through the watery outer layer and lights up the "meat" which makes them seem to glow from within. I wanted to get close enough to show that effect. You can see it particularly in the top part of the berry where the light was most intense.
I named it the "Royal Salmon Berry" because it looked like it was wearing a crown
