This is the wild beach of Anse Intendance on Mahé Island . Seychelles
A very pleasant place to be at sunset.

Very nice Alexandre...I will try also with an HDR in order to recover the dark edge of the frame.
Well done!!!

Excellent scene captured well! I too think some tones could be balanced better maybe with some subtle dodging and burning, but still this image soars!

Wow! The mood in this image is outstanding, the green water, the rocks and I think your framing with black helps a lot. Love the pic!

This is really good! I think if you cropped off the bottom third and the top 10% it would be an even stronger image. The very bottom foreground rock is too dark and separate to hold my interest. I think you could make the rock right above it the "new" foreground rock -- you'd still be able to have a lot of depth in the shot and you'd move the focus to the most visually arresting part of the image.

Alexandre,
I find the central part of the image to be stunning - fantastic light and great color. A long lasting impression gets lost for me with the amount of dark and heavy contrast surrounding the beautiful light and color of the rock and ocean.
One of the areas that tips me off about the heavy contrast is the white, washed out area of the clouds at top center. I can understand the brightness if the sun is right there behind the clouds, but the sun is actually setting on the horizon, so something is not right with the overall contrast - at least for me. But again, I find the center of this image to be very compelling.
You didn't mention, but I would be curious to know if this was a blend, straight shot, hdr?
