I was combining folders and consolidating hard drives when I came across this shot I took in 2006 but never posted. Taken in RMNP at Dream Lake. All comments welcome. >=))>

Nice composition and beautiful conditions, Bill. Looks a little too yellow perhaps, and I am noticing what seems like some diffraction issues, most notably in the llc.

Bill,

Even without your title, "fury" certainly comes to mind the way the blowing snow obscures the details of the mountain. the left part of the mountain gives an impression that a large format, soft focus portrait lens was used (or like a lensbaby...) but really shows the amount of blowing snow and ferocious atmosphere that is happening up there. Quite a fascinating capture of this moment in nature.

What a find, glad you dug back into your folders! The golden light and contrast of soft and sharp work well to echo your title.

Dramatic Bill. The wind must been blowin' really hard. Looks cold.

Despite the tech issues mentioned above, I think it's a great photo with a very nice title.

I like the mood the blow snow creates Bill. I also like the warm light on the mountain.

This is really nice Bill. Is that dust or snow or fog blowing off the mountain top?

You absolutely captured the raw quality of this place when the wind blows like this. Great job!
