Triple Threat!

I posted an image of a couple of Grey squirrel pups in a tree cavity in my back yard on the 3rd, when I looked out yesterday they had another sibling joining in the mayhem...

Thanks for taking a look. Comments appreciated.

Very nice and cute photo. IMHO you could crop tighter. Thanks for sharing.

Very very nice! Did you try a crop with the trunk filling the frame?

Congrats

This is so cute Charles. The squirrel on top looks like he's hanging on for his life! Your exposure of the tree and squirrels is just perfect, but I wonder if the background should be darkened a little so it doesn't jump out from the image as much.

Hi Charles,

A very cute stack of squirrels! While there MIGHT be room for one more, I'd be pretty happy with a stack of 3 myself! I'm with Daniel & Loana thinking that a crop having the tree fill the frame might be more impactful - the colour is nice, but to me it draws a little attention away from the subject of this image. And, a crop would increase the dominance of those cute squirrels in the frame.

Cheers...

Chuck, you understand, don't you, that you are creating an expectation. Next we want to see this cavity stacked with FOUR!

Details are nice. Fun posting!

Chuck, Been meaning to get back to your email (sorry, been very busy since I dropped my gear in the water last week..oops), but thanks for sending it. I like the techs on this one better. Love the addition of the extra little buddy! now you just need to train them for the circus! I agree with the others that a portrait crop would be cool using the tree as the frame. this was a fun shot...thanks for posting! :toast:
