Neat shot with nice colors Greg. Silhouettes like this work since it's so obvious what the silhouette is actually of. I think I'd definitely lighten the image some, to provide more contrast for the silhouette, and possibly sharpen it more (although you may just have lost a little sharpness via downsizing.)

Greg,

Wonderful silhouette - great color in the sky. I'm wondering if this is full frame or cropped? I see you have the long lens, but if you have any extra room around the right and top, it might bring in even more color. But honestly, it's great as presented too.

Gorgeous. I haven't the slightest idea of how to do bird pictures, but love it when I see images like this.

Thanks for the feedback. It is full frame. I have sharpened it. From my end I don't notice any softness, but I could easily add a touch more sharpening.

I am not sure that I agree with lightening the photo for more contrast. It started out lighter than this. I added about 25-30% saturation to make the colors more rich. I felt like that made the image much more beautiful and I thought it added more contrast. I aprecciate the comment just the same, because it makes me reconsider the image! Thanks!
