Grasslands

Swift Fox - Pawnee National Grasslands, Colorado
As transplanted Okies, by way of New York no less, we've enjoyed living in Colorado for the past twenty five years. Love the mountains but it's the Eastern part of the state that really feels like home. The grasslands are sometimes referred to as Colorado's outback and we can spend hours there on occasion without seeing another car or hearing a jet engine overhead. This is where we go to relax not the mountains; and this shot while processed with textures is probably as representative of the area and it's mood as any I've done.

From what I hear this little guy is supposed to be pretty elusive. This almost has a painterly feel to it.
Great job
