People ask me which one of my images is my favorite. This image of a fern over a burned tree trunk is one of my favs and most successful image. It was published twice in Outdoor Photographer, published in two other mags, won highly honored in "Nature's Best, "Windland Smith Rice International Awards". Won runner up for image of the year here at NPN in 2004, has been printed on many advertisment for art shows, and has been published in newpapers many times. This was shot under a bridge in a burned area in Yosemite.

This also is one of my favorites of yours, Mike. I've seen it in some of the
above-mentioned publications. That it has had so many publications is
a well deserved honor.
