I can't believe all the incredible photos in this anniversary gallery. It is both inspiring and humbling. This site has been a constant source of creative energy for me. Whenever I'm feeling uninspired I spend some time here and come away refreshed and chomping at the bit to get out there and try new things and capture more of the beauty that surrounds me.

This is one of my favorite panoramas that I've shot over the last 8 years since I took up photography. 10 vertical hand held shots stitched. The seagulls were feeding in the receding tide waters so I just waited for one to fly by in a good spot, grabbed that shot and then filled in the rest of the frames around it.

The image is huge so it's extremely compressed, even in the large version.

Gary, this is gorgeous! Excellent colors, comp, and good pano work.
What pano program do you use?

I love the reflected colors in this and the vastness of the scene. You've posted some really wonderful images over the years, I hope you'll share more.

Thank you, all for your kind comments! Sandy; This particular pano was stitched a few years ago with Panorama Factory but now I use AutopanoPro.

A beautiful scene and a great job processing the stitch.
